Thanks to Alan for his friendly, helpful and smiling welcome on the phone and at check-in. His colleague whose first name I don't have was also very pleasant.
Studio 25m square, pleasant, correct decor. Sleep on the sofa, which is a little tilted due to wear and tear. Cleanliness OK nothing more. Bathroom radiator does not work, and unless you remember to re-energize the fuse, the other radiators will not work either.
Door leading to the balcony difficult to close.
Basic ski locker, but it has the merit of existing.
Convenient location, not even 5 minutes walk from the lift taking you to the slopes. On the other hand, being in the city center, and in Alpe d'Huez, the groups of drunk English people are noisy, ask for a room which overlooks the street behind.
But overall, for my 3 night stay, very decent.

Not far from the year-round outdoor pool, a stone's throw from the ice rink, the hotel is centrally located with shops, including a bakery, pastry shop, and other convenience stores. The hotel is rather dated and could do with a renovation, but it remains clean and functional: four elevators, fairly large rooms/apartments with plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. A ski locker downstairs completes the offerings.
A special mention goes to the staff, who are very friendly, helpful, and always available.
The hotel is about 700 meters from the slopes, accessible by bus.
I'd definitely recommend it and would gladly return.

Residence located in the very center, therefore very practical, everything within easy reach.
Apartment in which we stayed, a little old but very functional and rooms overlooking the ice rink... noisy at night

The best part: very cheerful receptionist!
The rest: The purchases of buildings by P&V 40-50 years ago yes it was good, it was luxury! Normal, it was new. It smells like P&V will soon leave the premises, because they don't care about the maintenance and future of the building.
Today it is still in its original state. The owners do not renovate their apartment and P & V rents it out for a lot.
Imposing good bedding is not luxury in the mountains!!!!
Résidence l’Ours Blanc in Alpe d’Huez, apartment 932, A SHAME!!!!!!!! Between the mold, the disgusting kitchen utensils, and so on….

It doesn’t make you want to invest, NOR DY TO COME BACK!
The arrival was greatly spoiled by the discovery of this apartment, but did not prevent us from enjoying our stay (although, the quality of the bedding ??)
If you rent an apartment there, ask for COMPLIANT photos before your arrival!!!

SUGGESTIONS FOR PIERRE & HOLIDAYS:
you want to be eco-friendly and save money (at the same time) do not use the little soap/dry shampoo. We bring our stuff, no worries!

However, for ecological reasons, you can send fewer emails ?!

And if you can remove the “ding-ding” from the elevator, it will be a little extra for the apartments next door.

Basically, it's not worth the price!!

On sent à travers votre message un attachement à la montagne et à l’expérience que vous venez y chercher… et on aurait tellement aimé que votre séjour à l’Ours Blanc vous laisse un meilleur souvenir, Sandie.

Si la station et le séjour ont su vous séduire, nous aurions aimé que l’hébergement suive cette même dynamique. Nous entendons votre retour sur l’entretien et la literie, deux éléments essentiels pour un confort optimal après une bonne journée sur les pistes.

Concernant la résidence, nous sommes bien conscients de ces attentes et partageons l’envie de toujours améliorer l’expérience que nous proposons. Quant aux petites attentions écolo (savon, emails, et même le "ding-ding" de l’ascenseur ?), on note vos suggestions avec intérêt !

Si un jour l’envie de revenir vous titille à nouveau, on espère pouvoir vous offrir une expérience plus à la hauteur de vos attentes. En attendant, merci d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre ressenti.
