Location and Accessibility
Private parking: Immediately upon arrival, turn right to the hotel's private parking (100 EUR/week, same price as public parking).

Quick check-in: Friendly welcome at reception, quickly received three access cards and keys.

Parking: Parked directly at the entrance door of the building. Suitcase trolleys available for easy movement.

Apartment
Spacious and clean: Apartment 102 in Amenda building, suitable for 6 people with two bathrooms and good beds.

Kitchen: Well equipped with sufficient utensils.

Ski locker: Equipped with 6 shoe dryers/warmers and sufficient space for ski and snowboard equipment.

Facilities
Slopes: Direct access to the blue 'Proclou' slope from the ski room. Proclou lift close by for access to different areas.

Bread service: Fresh bread can be ordered at normal rates (order before 6:30 PM), payment at the end of the stay.

Swimming pool and wellness: Connected to the main building (bar, reception, swimming pool) by an underground corridor.

Swimming pool: Clean, water 28-29 degrees, ideal for children.

Children's pool: 0.25 m deep, perfect for young children.

Large bath: With whirlpool bath 110 cm - 130 cm deep.

Wellness: Three indoor and two outdoor saunas (mountain view), two steam baths.

Opening hours: Swimming pool open until 8:30 PM, lifeguards present.

Fitness: There is a fitness room, which is mainly focused on cardio exercises. There are no free weights available.

Family friendliness
Free activities: Daughter took part in an activity by the animation team (2 hours of playing, dancing, eating pancakes).

ESF Ski School: As a bonus for children taking lessons at ESF, they will be picked up at 8:40 am by a sleigh pulled by two horses, which will take them to their lesson – a fun experience for the little ones and one less tiring sleigh ride for the parents.

Price-Quality
Very satisfied: For the price (outside holidays) we got more than expected, good location and amenities.

'Disadvantage'
Walk to the center: A small disadvantage is the longer distance to the center of Avoriaz. The walk can be a bit tiring, especially the climb involved. For those who don't have much energy left with small children or after a long day of skiing, this is an important point to consider. A horse-drawn sleigh ride from the far point to the hotel will cost you 11EUR.

However, although the walk to the center is a bit tough, the location is otherwise perfect for a quiet and pleasant holiday. The atmosphere is great and the staff is always helpful.

Stayed here as a family for a week last week.
Apartment had a spacious living room and a great kitchen. Crockery is plentiful.
First night we slept very badly due to a bad mattress, but luckily it was replaced the next day at our request by a new one.
Bedrooms are a bit small. In the master bedroom there was about 20 cm to walk past the bed. The bathroom with bath was neat and spacious. The bathroom with shower was very cramped.
Location was very good (first building upon entering the village). We were on the piste. Some noise from the piste boules (but no problem) and on Friday there was a lot of driving back and forth next to the building by trucks or other machines (from 6 o'clock in the morning a lot of squeaking because of reversing) that was not nice.
Apartments are very noisy. Both inside the apartment and your neighbours above you.
Location amare is therefore at the beginning of the village. The advantage is the quiet location (the partying youngsters are further away in the village) and the disadvantage is that you have to walk a bit for everything (ski rental, bakery, supermarket).
We cooked ourselves every night because there was no restaurant in the area with good reviews.
