Once upon a time it may have been 5 stars, but now everything is tortured. Because the hotels have been here for many years. As well as the SPA area. In general, everything is nice, neat, clean. The staff is friendly, both at the hotel, at the ski school and in the restaurants. The people are wonderful.
Everything is decorated very nicely for Christmas, the vibe matches. I recommend it.

I am in exactly the same situation as some reviews.
We came to Arcs 1950 for 15 days on August 10 this year.
We had some issues with cleanliness in the accommodation but overall it conformed to the description.
On the other hand, upon our arrival we were informed that we would not be able to have access to the balconies and terraces (visit and inspection the week just before which a priori did not allow us to communicate before... Let's admit.).
Since it is October 13,
At least 10 emails, an open ticket for the complaint several exchanges and a registered letter to management and still nothing and even more news to our emails and reminders.
Condemn this type of practice (a reimbursement commitment is a reimbursement commitment - and of course you must justify it since there was a written agreement) I cannot recommend Pierre and Vacances les Arcs if you encounter an inconvenience and well you pay the consequences yourself if there is diligence or respect for the group.
