I am in exactly the same situation as some reviews.
We came to Arcs 1950 for 15 days on August 10 this year.
We had some issues with cleanliness in the accommodation but overall it conformed to the description.
On the other hand, upon our arrival we were informed that we would not be able to have access to the balconies and terraces (visit and inspection the week just before which a priori did not allow us to communicate before... Let's admit.).
Since it is October 13,
At least 10 emails, an open ticket for the complaint several exchanges and a registered letter to management and still nothing and even more news to our emails and reminders.
Condemn this type of practice (a reimbursement commitment is a reimbursement commitment - and of course you must justify it since there was a written agreement) I cannot recommend Pierre and Vacances les Arcs if you encounter an inconvenience and well you pay the consequences yourself if there is diligence or respect for the group. However, I will take the steps until I am satisfied.

En effet, depuis cet été la décision de condamner les balcons a été prise pour assurer la sécurité de nos hôtes. Nous sommes sincèrement navrés des désagréments que cela à causé à votre séjour.

Comme échangé dans nos précédents emails, nos équipes travaillent pour résoudre la situation dans les plus brefs délais, et nous nous excusons pour le délai inhabituel dans le traitement de votre geste commercial.

Good morning,
I would first like to thank the entire Pierre et vacances 1950 team for their welcome and smiles throughout our stay.
The 1 star for service is not for them but for customer service. In fact, a few days before our stay this summer we received an email to warn us that the balconies will be closed and that we will receive a 10% refund of our stay. Already I find that the commercial gesture is weak because not being able to take advantage of eating outside in the middle of summer is still quite damaging.
But above all, it is October and I am still waiting for a refund. If I write a review here it is because I am not getting responses to my latest emails. In fact, I had to change my bank card and the refund was made to the bank card that made the payment, so I did not receive any refund. Of course I sent emails to find a solution but I didn't get any answers. It's still a shame to have to write a review to hope to get a refund. I am not used to this method and would have preferred to do without it.

But the residence and the village are great.
