Excellent P&Vacances residence. Quiet. Comfortable apartment equipped with everything you need. No air conditioning, but it wasn't necessary. The only problem is parking. Although the residence is full, there seems to be a lack of parking spaces. Excellent for both the beaches, which can be reached by car, and for sightseeing in the beautiful Basque towns of France and Spain.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Maldagora.
The staff were fantastic, the place was magical, and we can't wait to return.

This is a small, friendly residence, equidistant from the main attractions of the Basque Country: Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a 25-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride away. The bus stop is right at the bottom of the residence (be sure to check the timetable: buses run twice an hour, and they can be early or late). Hendaye is 15 km away, San Sebastian in Spain is 30 km away, and Espelette is very close.
The swimming pool is excellent, and the café overlooking it is a real bonus, as the ground-floor apartments can be rather dark, making them less inviting for spending the day.
The amenities are good quality: TV, kettle, and kitchen utensils.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and they readily offer advice on places to visit in the area. The downside is that a car is essential for grocery shopping: there's no supermarket within 2km (the Leclerc is closed on Sundays), no snack bar at the residence, and only drinks and ice cream are available during reception opening hours. When you're from Paris, it's difficult to adjust.
