The residence is less than a 20-minute walk from the town center of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, perfect for stretching your legs. For the return trip, take bus 17, which stops right outside the residence.
A big congratulations to the entire Maldagora residence team for the excellent upkeep of the residence and especially to the reception staff for their helpfulness, kindness, and cheerfulness.

Very pleasant in the middle of beautiful vegetation

It's a very nice place. The staff is lovely. Very quiet and well located if you're traveling by car. We come back every year because we love it.

Nine days in the Florenia building... according to my discussions with other residents, some apartments in other buildings have been renovated, which was definitely not the case with this one!

-What was good: quiet and green setting, swimming pool, luggage carts (on a slope), bread, bedding, plenty of storage space, sofas, dishwasher, and end-of-stay cleaning.

And the rest: Too many doors (unhinge the extra ones and store them in a corner for the duration of the stay), fridge turned off when we arrived (reception apologized), VMC present but more than ineffective (musty smell when the doors and windows were left closed for more than half a day), persistent urine smell in the toilet (no effective solution found) with the added bonus of a slight smell of the Ciboure sewers in the bathroom on a day of heavy rain, the double ticking of the 2 clocks on the electrical panel at night (after testing they are useless (!) since the convectors of the time certainly do not have a pilot wire, the cut-off of the circuit breaker next to the living room lighting allows them to be stopped so that we can get to sleep at night), non-functional towel dryer, Scottish shower mixer, no air conditioning (however the site should remain relatively cool in case of strong heat given the presence of many trees and palm trees).
Some of the slabs along the site's walkways are loose, the pool slabs aren't always aligned, and you can trip over them. A railing at the edge of the wading pool even flipped over when I stepped on it, cutting my toe! And the bottom of the pool is soft underfoot at one corner...

The structure and facilities date back to the end of the last century and deserve a major renovation! This is apparently planned for the future...

The reception was attentive and responded to the inconveniences encountered.
