modern and comfortable building but a little outside the heart of the resort, very nice, well-equipped rooms.
We stayed there in summer (August) but it is easy to imagine a stay in winter, with departure from the residence on skis ;-)

Very good stay. Very clean and well maintained residence. Beautiful, comfortable apartment with the only downside being not very comfortable bedding (deformation). Very welcoming, helpful and smiling staff.

Very spacious rooms, a magnificent view, very clean, a very well maintained residence. Dedicated and very attentive staff. A few hiccups which were quickly corrected by this dynamic team who only wanted customer satisfaction.
A big thank you to Mr Cremades Anthony for taking the time for us and for these little touches and a special word for Mr Silas at reception for whom we did not make life easy from the moment we arrived but who went out of his way for our satisfaction and always with a big smile and great courtesy.
Certainly THE best stone and vacation we have done (and we have done)
Without a doubt we will come back.

Nightingale family

We had a fantastic holiday in Flaine at Pierre et Vacances. The service was truly 5* with comfortable and well decorated rooms. The site is a bit far from the rest of the resort, but walking was part of the stay. We will most likely return there.

Summer stay:

When you pay a "Mountain View" supplement, know that it is "Road View" (certainly, we see the mountain, but above all the road!!), in addition, it is the main axis which deserts the atrocious Flaine station.
Very welcoming, friendly, polite staff, but very young who know nothing about "adult" things, and left to their own devices (when you ask for a mattress pad for a child, there are 4 of them looking at each other; no one knows what It is !).
Interior limit clean. Fridge not washed, freezer not defrosted.
However, rather well equipped.
Balcony (road side!) not very big but when you have a table that takes up 80% of the space, it's impossible to eat there!!
There is a laundry: only one out of 3 dryers worked! For the entire residence, that’s not much! The same goes for the fitness room: 7 machines, 3 that work!! (too bad, because the view for running and exercising is crazy!)
We are promised a Spa (massage, wellness, etc.): it’s not in the residence!! You have to walk to the other P&V (Helios). Summer is fine but in winter, in a bathrobe, you have to walk 5 minutes in the snow!!
The same goes for the “Spar” in the residence. This supermarket is not in the residence (it is in the other P&V, 5 minutes walk). And we have the impression of doing our "shopping" in a country at war: empty shelves, burnt out bulbs, zero choice; when there are things, it's around 50% more expensive than in a classic Sherpa (already expensive)

Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hamam quickly taken over during rush hours but everything makes sense! But time slots wide enough to avoid the crowds: it closes at 9 p.m., it's unexpected!

In the end: absolutely nothing to do with a 5-star nickname!!! what a joke!

Otherwise for the location (Flaine): maybe in winter for skiers, it's good, but in summer, don't plan to go hiking without ski lifts above your heads, that doesn't exist! Nature has lost all its rights! Forced to drive 1 hour to find real “nature” hikes (except the Plateau Desert: great).
Besides, if you are looking for information at the Tourist Office, go ahead: “scan the QR Code, you will have all the information!” Borderline friendly staff who are of no use, because they have nothing to do, nor to sell!!... No paper cards available (even for purchase)!! Everything happens on their app! If we want to get away from smartphones for a bit, it's impossible! If you run out of battery while hiking, you're lost! ...

Flaine station: atrocious architecture! But all the same, some nice activities thanks to the "Summer Pass", a bracelet included with the residence which gives access to free activities (loan of rackets, mini-golf clubs, free library, etc.)... when it is paid, the prices are horribly high (even in summer... we can't imagine winter!!).

The Alps are large enough not to return... There are plenty of choices elsewhere!
