Fantastic park with a great golf course!

They LOST my 2-year-old BABY and LIED to protect themselves.

I never left a review for this establishment. Six years later, however, it seems essential that parents know what we went through.

Our 2-year-old son was enrolled in the baby club. On the second day, a staff member explained that our son had fallen asleep before the group left for activities and that she had therefore stayed at the club with him. She explained that she had left him alone for a few moments to go to the bathroom and that when he woke up, he was scared. We accepted this explanation, thinking it was an isolated incident, nothing serious.

A few days later, a vacationer approached us. Since the beginning of our stay, he had been signaling to our son, which had intrigued us. He was the one who told us the truth.

While passing by the club, he discovered our 2-year-old completely alone in the courtyard. He waited, called out, knocked on doors, climbed over a flimsy barrier to try and find an adult, and finally reached reception. According to his statement, he stayed with our son for about fifteen minutes. It was only after his call that an employee came running to get the child and bring him back to the group. We weren't informed of anything.

The most serious thing isn't just the initial mistake. It's everything that followed.

When we asked management for an explanation, we were met with changing stories, denials, attempts to downplay the situation, and a clear desire to protect the establishment rather than acknowledge the seriousness of the incident.

It took the vacationer's own intervention, confronting management, to set the record straight. Without him, I'm convinced we would never have known what really happened.

Leaving a two-year-old alone in a kids' club is an extremely serious offense. My son could have wandered off, been involved in an accident, or been kidnapped. The mere thought of it still chills me to the bone.

Six years later, one question still haunts me: how long was my child actually left alone? I don't know. And as a teacher, trained in the fundamentals of any profession involving children, counting the children upon arrival, departure, and every time they move around is a basic rule. I still don't understand how a facility caring for toddlers could fail to implement this essential check. It's the bare minimum. And it wasn't even followed. It's appalling. Truly appalling.

In the end, our stay was refunded... in the form of vouchers... But that seems paltry considering what happened. It wasn't what we expected. We were hoping for a sincere apology, transparency, and the assurance that this incident would serve as a wake-up call.

I cannot recommend an establishment that not only failed to properly supervise a 2-year-old, but then chose to downplay the incident rather than take full responsibility. Parents have a right to know.

Fantastic stay at Pont Royal!

A very warm welcome from the moment we arrived, with attentive and caring receptionists.

We were truly blown away by the beautifully maintained, lush green golf courses.

Two superb pool areas (just bring water shoes as the water can be a bit slippery ?) with a wave pool that runs every hour, water slides, and a quieter pool. The lifeguards at the wave pool were incredibly attentive and always on the lookout – kudos to them! ??

My 6-year-old son had a blast at the kids' club. The activity leaders were fantastic, and the activities were really fun for the children!

There was entertainment in the village every evening and throughout the day as well, for both children and adults.

We had a wonderful meal at the LA FARIGOULE restaurant, with generous portions at a reasonable price.

The apartment was "renovated" and air-conditioned, with the AC working very well. The renovation was mostly a fresh coat of paint and new decor, but it was perfectly adequate. The only slight drawback was the bedding; it wasn't very comfortable. There was also a lack of kitchen equipment (e.g., trivets, more glasses, a range hood), but everything else was perfect!

A beautiful, well-maintained resort with a golf course. The accommodations are clean and well-air-conditioned (living room and bedroom).

The pools are well-suited for families, with lifeguards on duty.

A minor drawback is the floor of the wave pool, which is abrasive to prevent slipping but causes blisters, so ideally you should bring sandals for the water or consider softening the surface.

This holiday resort, established in 1992, is showing its age... our apartment was in poor condition: a patio door that wouldn't close, a broken shower support, clogged sinks, broken baseboards... the pools are very nice and the entertainment staff are excellent, however, beyond that, I didn't enjoy my stay. Sorry.
