The Pierre & Vacances Village in Sainte-Anne in Guadeloupe is a little paradise. Very pretty, well-gardened, it offers two large swimming pools and especially two beautiful private beaches in a quiet and secluded location. The buildings are also very elegant in the Creole style.
Much more exotic than Club Med in my opinion. I recommend it.

We stayed in the premium houses for 14 days because we were in the same village in Martinique 7 years ago with satisfaction. The village is large and in a good position to see Guadalupe in general (not good if you are interested in Basse Terre because it takes a long time to get there). I think it needs a good renovation and better adorned all the outside with plants. I have nothing to say about my studio apartment, it was complete with everything.
As for the services, however, we had problems. I list them: 1. I had to have a change of sheets every 4 days and every time I had to argue to have it (so much so that they skipped one); for the towels it had to happen every 2 days and even there the first 2 times I had to make issues with the reception to have them-2. The pool towels were changed every 3 days and I consider this to be really excessive - 3. Insufficient sunbeds for the beach and pools - 4. Given the size of the village, it would be appropriate to have a small, better equipped and less expensive food shop - 5. I think that when cleaning it would be appropriate to have shower gel, soap, etc. put in. To sum up: it is an architecturally very beautiful village, a little neglected and a little lacking in services. For what you pay, you can find better.
