The hotel has a great location, although there are some facilities right in front of it. The food is quite acceptable. The rooms meet the quality standards for a 4-star hotel. However, the big problem is the room cleaning. You leave a hair and it's still there the next day.
But my biggest disappointment is that at 7 a.m. they start cleaning the two rooms next to mine without any consideration, with the resulting noise of moving beds, opening drawers, etc.
My suggestion is that since we weren't in high season, much less in March, and with a capacity that wouldn't even reach a quarter of that, they should clean the rooms next to the occupied ones at a later time and not subject guests to unnecessary early mornings.
People go to a hotel to enjoy themselves, relax, and disconnect from their usual routine. I hope they solve these problems by creating a cleaning plan. Thank you.
My husband and I went to spend a few days in the area. We were unaware that Calpe was a cycling paradise. The hotel was full of Spanish and European cyclists.
It's pet-friendly, which I think is great.
The receptionist who helped us was very pleasant.
We had half-board, and the food was quite good, but limited; the hotel was too crowded.
A plus point is that for those of us who only drink water, there was a water dispenser, so there was no need to buy bottles.
The location is right on the beach; we didn't have sea views, but the top floor has a pool with great views.
The hotel's parking costs €15 per day; parking there is impossible, and we didn't go there in the summer.
The worst thing I can highlight is the beds. The mattresses are spring mattresses; we had a really bad time sleeping, waking up with severe back pain.
The pillows were too low for our taste.
The television was practically as small as a computer screen.
The bathroom and room were clean, and towels were replaced every three days.
The rooms needed renovation.
They currently lack the characteristics of a 4-star hotel.
