The brochure was very nice, but not really kid-friendly or baby-friendly. We asked to change the travel cot twice, and all three were in very poor condition (stained, broken, wrong mattress, etc.). The high chair was the Bébé Confort adapter... never washed and smelled of vomit. The parking was quite far from the house, which was again inconvenient with small children. The village is generally very beautiful, but breakfast wasn't available before 9:00 AM... the service wasn't suitable for families with young children. The town center is a long walk away, and not feasible with a baby carrier.
The worst part, though, was the mold in the room... It's a real shame because on paper it looked so appealing. It wouldn't take much to make it perfect. The kitchen equipment was great: dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, oven, etc.
The location was fantastic. However, the apartment was not up to premium standards. The kitchen was tiny and extremely poorly equipped. The bedding was awful. There was no water pressure in the bathtub. The reception was a complete mess on the day of our arrival, not even worthy of a 2-star hotel. As for the spa, you have to walk through a freezing cold corridor to get from the pool to the sauna, and the opening hours are completely unsuitable for vacationers who might be out and about during the day. 6:30 pm, it's closed! In short, not a premium residence for us.
We had a wonderful time; it's a beautiful property with many amenities.
The houses are superb and very comfortable.
The spa is fantastic, despite the excessive chlorine... the massage was excellent. We'll be back, hoping the spa will manage the chlorine better next time (as we have asthma, we had to leave the spa).
