In summary, I find that it is an average hotel (very average value for money compared to all the hotels that I have tested in the neighboring islands).
Employees
The employees are very nice and polite.
Rooms
Some rooms deserve a refresh, the paint had blisters and mold (see photo).
Pool
The swimming pool is very outdated. When you walk in the pool, you feel the floor covering lifting and making large air-filled blisters. Quite unpleasant.
I also didn't understand why there are bars in the pool but when you ask for a drink you are told that it is not a bar and that no drinks are served...
Why put a bar in a swimming pool so as not to serve drinks there?!?
Restoration
There is no "all inclusive" but only half board.
There is little choice in the dishes offered in the buffet (I stayed there for two days).
Most of the desserts I tasted (crème caramel, chocolate mousse, etc.) did not correspond to what was advertised on the menu and were of no interest: extremely sweet, bordering on inedible (because of the sugar) .
I would have preferred to have a majority of local desserts. Damage.
Animation
I don't understand the logic of certain activities: we are in MARTINIQUE but we are offering you the opportunity to learn to dance Latin dances (salsa...)!! What nonsense!
Why not learn bèlè, danmier or other traditional dances and arts from Martinique?!?
Incomprehensible.
Activities
Possibility of going to the beach nearby.
Possibility of doing water sports.
The location of the resort is beautiful! Also well located to explore other parts of the island. It is easily accessible and has ample parking.
The staff was excellent too! We were quite satisfied with the room, especially the terrace is a bonus. However, the room was outdated and the WiFi did not work in our room.
What was the most negative point for us was the food. The breakfast buffet was okay, but we really didn't like the evening buffet. It costs €35 pp and was really not tasty due to the low quality of the food. The food in the hotel's other restaurant (terrasses d'ariel) was very tasty!
Overall, enjoyed our stay at Pierre & Vacances. We would definitely recommend it, just not the buffet.
The staff and location are top notch.
Despite the rooms being a little old, everything went perfectly.
We enjoyed the breakfast and evening buffets and the lunchtime snack is excellent too.
I really recommend this place
Holiday village ideally located and very cute. Staying in a 4-person apartment, we felt very good there with our two teenagers and even regretted having taken the half board which in my opinion is the downside of this establishment! I would have loved to eat local dishes...
I would have appreciated a slightly more pleasant and motivated team of facilitators...
We had a very pleasant time!
