Very beautiful location facing the sea and a very pleasant path to discover the coast of Sainte-Luce
However the village is aging badly, the rooms could do with a good makeover
The breakfast is of very good quality
The buffet in the evening is a little expensive (35€) but is good quality
The black spot remains the swimming pool, the liner of which is peeled off over a large part of the swimming pool.
We were with a private rental! The site is very beautiful, but it lacks renovation. The bottom of the pool is peeling off, everything is a little dated. The biggest drawback is parking... It's hell at the end of the day, it takes away the desire to leave the site because it's so complicated! In short, beautiful site which simply lacks a little love!
We have stayed at Pierre et Vacances Ste Luce on a half-board basis four times in four years.
The site is very beautiful in terms of panorama and the location is great. The welcome is pleasant.
But we are seeing a deterioration in the facilities and catering.
The swimming pool is not well cleaned and the liner is too dated, the rooms lack maintenance (damaged furniture, rusty bathroom, etc.) and the bedding is unworthy of a French establishment such as P&V (soft and misshapen pillows, hollow mattresses).
The worst is the catering.... we knew it wasn't the best buffet in the world and we're not picky eaters. But there, at almost €50 for half-board, it's almost a steal. Dishes often lukewarm or cold, poor quality, lots of frozen foods or cans; It is a canteen and not a hotel. In the evening, after 8 p.m./8:30 p.m., they do not refill the buffet (yet there are people and the service lasts until 9:30 p.m. "normally"). We are asked to reheat food in the microwave, it is shameful. Some members of the staff do not do the job, due to laziness, this unfortunately seems obvious to us. We are told "the grill for meat no longer works, take apple juice instead of tropical, we are no longer making sauce for carbo pasta, take what is left". Unacceptable!!
My question: are we in a French establishment? We are not considered as a guest and at the price of half board, this is not possible. A seat complaint will follow. For us, it's over, loyalty doesn't pay.
We are delighted with our week-long stay at Pierre et Vacances.
We stayed in a studio with an outdoor kitchen on the terrace and a magnificent view.
Midweek, we had our sheets and towels changed, and housekeeping was provided.
The pool was very pleasant, and the beach was just below for a swim in the sea.
The welcome was very friendly, with a little extra for Marie-Line for a small meeting in Martinique, the various excursions offered, etc.
It's quiet, pretty, warm, and clean.
The downside is the rather expensive cost of the supermarket, restaurants, etc.
