A wonderful family week in a house in the Huppain neighborhood. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the view of the gulf, and the cozy fireplace. Our son passionately explored the D-Day landing beaches thanks to the ideal location.
Congratulations to the staff for their welcome, friendliness, and responsiveness.
It's in the Calvados province of Normandy. Nearby is Omaha Beach, where the Allied landings took place in 1944 and more than 4,000 Allied soldiers died.
Beautiful location. The residence has been very well renovated. We loved the decor and especially the comfort of the sofas. This is the first time we've booked a hotel residence in over 10 years!
The accommodation was in a catastrophic condition: hair everywhere, a clogged sink, a leaking toilet, and even cockroaches in the apartment. It was advertised for five people, but it was far too small and completely unkempt.
After just one night, we had to move out and find new accommodation. No one on site felt responsible – and we ended up having to pay the bills ourselves.
Conclusion: Dirty, unkempt, no service – definitely not recommended.
