I had an exceptional stay at the Pierre & Vacances Deauville! The property is truly pleasant, with a well-heated pool that everyone loved. The service is top-notch; the reception team is very welcoming and professional. The balcony and chairs were completely covered in shit. No Wi-Fi on the upper floor of the apartment. The light in the bathroom was broken. There was far too little toilet paper, which was also extremely thin. For that price, you're supposed to buy the rest yourself.
Hallways are dirty and haven't been cleaned for days. Bags of used towels were left in the hallway for three days. But when they were removed, the trash (paper scraps, etc.) was still there. There are extreme signs of wear and tear everywhere (rooms, hallways, etc.). You get the feeling that it was once nice, but isn't being maintained and is slowly deteriorating.
At the reception, the staff (except for one) speaks English, but this could be much better.
Be careful, the maisonette apartments are on the street, as the cheaper "on the street" category only applies to the lower level. The one above is, of course, also on the street, but is sold as the more expensive category!!! Changing rooms proved extremely difficult, even though there were still plenty of rooms available. (I specifically checked this online beforehand.)
One more thing to note! The best price guarantee for bookings made directly through Pierre & Vacances is only valid for 24 hours after booking, not after the booking confirmation! However, the confirmation only arrives 23 hours after booking. So, in principle, it only applied to us for one hour. I should have canceled and booked somewhere cheaper!

Everything was perfect, from the residence to its proximity to the city center.
