Extremely disappointed with our last experience at Pierre et Vacances Le Roselend in Les Arcs 1800.
Being regulars of the place (every year for around 5 years), we have never been received like this.
Arrived on Saturday around noon (excluding school holidays) as usual. The receptionists tell us that the apartments will be ready at 3 p.m., no problem, this is the usual organization. After 3 p.m., the staff continues to inform us that the 2 apartments will be “ready soon”. In the end, we had to wait until 6:45 p.m. for the first apartment and 7:15 p.m. for the second without having had clear communication about the delay, which had become unacceptable. Especially since we had a reservation in a restaurant in the resort for 7 p.m. and we arrived 30 minutes late due to handing over the keys to the 2nd apartment. The service has been impacted.

This was only the beginning, since upon discovering the apartments, the unpleasant surprises continued. One of the balconies was condemned for “risk of collapse”, we had not been informed of this and this had a strong impact on our entire stay. In addition, linen was missing and the cleaning had been done quickly and therefore somewhat sloppy.

During the week, we spoke with the staff and managers of Pierre et Vacances who committed to a commercial discount following these numerous inconveniences. In the end, as is often said, “the words fly away, the writings stay”. All oral commitments from a certain Maeva disappeared and we never had any commercial gesture following our departure. A great way to show regular customers the consideration the group has for them!..

Unfortunately, we do not intend to repeat our experience in this brand, although we thought until this year that we had found a pleasant place to spend the winter holidays. The location and services, as well as customer consideration, are in sharp decline.

We went there the last week of January 2025. A great duplex apartment with a view of Mont Blanc. The welcome was great, we arrived early in the morning and we were able to pick up the apartment quickly by being notified by text message. The pastries delivery service is very practical.
We could leave and return on skis.
In pedestrian mode, simply take the cable car to return to the residence and go back down on foot to avoid the glass alley while remaining quiet. We will come back with great pleasure! THANKS
