Ok, so let me start by saying that this was part of a package booked through Heidi, for 2 parents and 2 kids sharing a self catering room in March.

The kids had a bed each in the form of well sized bunk beds. We had a fold down double bed.

The beds were comfortable, the only thing being that we could perhaps have done with a thicker duvet, but in reality that’s a very minor thing - college could also have worn thicker pyjamas.

The room is well spaced when the fold bed is up, so nothing unusual there.

There is a good size fridge, brand new pots / pans and surprisingly…. a rather welcomed dishwasher.
This was a bonus for sure.

The only real problem that we experienced was our cooker, though we learned that our neighbours also had the same issue.

Basically you would turn on the cooker rings…. and they’d stay on for 30-40 seconds before we’d have to turn the whole cooker of, lift the pans off, place them in the sink and “reboot” the cooker again (turn all dials down till the red lights stops flashing, turn the cooker completely off and then put the pots on again).

It caused us on the first two days to waste lots of food because we couldn’t work out how to cook with the cooker as it was.
Anyway. We worked it out in the end but wasted food and had to go get takeout as well.

The staff at reception are excellent, they’ll help with all they can.

The position of the apartment block is very very good, within about 3 minutes walk of the town centre and restaurants if you want to do that.

For snowboarders….. the zero G store is more less 4 minutes walk from here.

Things to note:

You’ll need to bring your own chopping board and peeler if you want to have potato’s. (We’re N Irish - we always have potatoes)

You’ll need to bring toilet roll too.

The towel radiator in the room has a sign telling you how to make it work, but it doesn’t work so drying snow clothes is a challenge.

The “balcony” area is open to the public on the ground floor, but is partially shielded by a hedge. If you need privacy, be aware that this may compromise you a little.

The snow room doesn’t accommodate snowboards - they have to come to your bedroom.

WiFi is NOT free as was advertised on Heidi though.

Overall it’s a great little place. We’ll definitely stay again but we’ll come much better prepared to account for these little niggles.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay, Jonathan. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious room, the comfortable beds, and the convenience of the appliances, especially the dishwasher. We're also glad to know that the location was ideal for your family and that our reception team was helpful during your stay.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you faced with the cooker. We understand how frustrating it must have been, especially with the food waste, and we appreciate you working through it. We will be sure to investigate and address this issue to prevent it from happening in the future.

Thank you for your helpful suggestions, including the need for a chopping board and peeler, as well as toilet roll. These are great points we’ll consider to improve the experience for future guests. We also regret any confusion around the Wi-Fi charges and the towel radiator, and we’ll make sure to clarify these details for future visitors.

We look forward to welcoming you back and hope to provide an even better experience next time!

Nice and cozy flat, though it bit oldish in decoration (especially bathroom). Staff is kind, responsive and ready to help.

We stayed at this hotel recently, and it was an absolute nightmare. The luggage room was locked, and we had no access to our bags when we needed to leave for our flight. The hotel staff failed to inform us that the room would be locked and reception closed and un-reachable. Even the emergency number at the entrance provided so solutions or assistance. As a consequence, we were forced to book private taxis and new buses to collect our luggage the next day, which cost us $800! What’s worse, the hotel took no responsibility for their mistake and refused to compensate us in any way. Will never stay here again. Avoid at all costs!

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Marinella. We regret to hear about the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. However, we would like to provide some clarification regarding the situation.

Our director personally contacted you to offer assistance with your luggage and even proposed setting it aside so it could be collected at your convenience. You informed us that you would collect the luggage the following morning. Based on this information, and as part of our standard security protocol, our team ensured the luggage room was locked for the night, especially since the reception would reopen in the morning.

We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced and the additional expenses incurred, but we believe there may have been some miscommunication. We always strive to provide the best service to our guests, and we deeply regret that this situation did not meet your expectations.

Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.
