Let’s face it, we’re not expecting much from our apartment when we go to Alpe D’Huez , hot running water, and decent cooking facilities, and a halfway decent bed are at the top of the list. These three were more than adequate at the apartment, plenty of hot water, really hot radiator for drying off my snowboarding gear at the end of the day. There was a double halogen hob, a decent sized fridge in freezer, and a sink that was actually big enough to do the dishes in, which I tended to do even though there was a dishwasher, which for my purposes served as a drying rack during my stay. The location is excellent, pretty close to 3 three of the lifts of the mountain. I use the Riffel express most mornings because I wanted to get to pic blanc 1. A supermarket, and pharmacy were also with a few minutes walking distance.

Although I stayed on my own, I think the apartment would’ve been good for a family of up to 5 people, more than that it would be too crowded. Access to the pool, and a sauna Were key in my decision to stay here, and I put them both to use every day of my stay.

I was very pleased with my decision to book here.

We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. It is by far our favourite location. ?Accommodation is spacious, clean and airy. We had a lovely sun filled room over looking the pool. ?
Would highly recommend to families or adults only.
Car parking is limited so would recommend parking in multistorey opposite. ?

Walk to ski lift ⛷️is easy enough even with children.

Great location however rooms are tiny and significantly dated. We were a couple in a studio, no double bed, there was a sofa bed however this was only a single and completely broken. Had to push together bunk bed mattresses on the floor. Everything else was fine apart from dishwasher which had an awful smell. Location is great.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the great location of our residence—it’s always a pleasure to be so close to the slopes!

However, we’re truly sorry to hear that the comfort of your studio did not meet your expectations. The residence offers both renovated and non-renovated apartments, and we understand that this can make a difference in the experience. Regarding the sofa bed, we were not informed of this issue during your stay, but please know that our teams are always available to assist and find a solution on-site.

We sincerely hope that, despite these inconveniences, you were able to enjoy your time in the mountains and that we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you again for a more comfortable experience.

Best regards,
The Pierre & Vacances Team

Pretty basic accommodation at a convenient location close to slopes and ski lifts. The studio was small a the beds were in the corridor next to the front door, making you hear a lot of noise, especially if you’re located next to the elevator.
