How about setting off for the Pays Basque? ...Domaine de Bordaberry, a residence nestled between the sea and the mountains, is the perfect place to get away from it all. Nestled in a sprawling national park spanning 12 hectares on the Basque ...Corniche, it offers magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. You won't tire of life here! You'll only wish you could stay for longer in such a relaxing environment.
The residence is composed of 9 small buildings with neo-Basque architecture, surrounding a mansion once owned by Madame de Trévise. Our apartments are fully equipped and feature a stylish, soothing decor. Inside, the cosy and intimate atmosphere makes for a relaxing holiday. Each of the apartments has a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy some quality family time while admiring the view of the gardens or pool.
If you need to cool off, there's plenty to choose from. From May to September, you can dive into our large swimming pool or relax on a lounger on the sun terrace. Little ones can splash around in the paddling pool. All year round, discover the beaches of Hendaye and Ciboure located 3 km away. You can sign up for a beginner's sailing course or try surfing and scuba diving.
Sportier guests can spend their energy on our fitness trail or playing a tennis match. There is a play area for children at reception and outside.

New path linking the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Hendaye. Discover magnificent views of the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean, the Socoa Fort and the Château d'Abbadia. Allow 3 to 4 hours to complete this 12km section of the GR® 8.

Lovely grounds and super quiet. Swimming pool is very nice and not too busy. Ladies at the reception are always really pleasant and welcoming.
Fabulous views from the Domaine.
On the negative side the apartment walls are pretty thin and you can hear the neighbours clearly. ...Using the tennis court incurs an additional fee too which we did not expect.

Absolutely great. Very green, with many flowers, fantastic views, beautiful sunsets, nice swimming pool. We paid extra for an apartment with ocean view (65 euros per week) and it was worth it. The place is dog friendly and they charge you 12 euros per day, our dog got a ...small gift. Apartment itself was comfortable, it had fully equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Maybe the bedroom and bathroom could be a little bit bigger but generally it was comfortable. We were there before summer and it was very quiet. Also you have a big parking area. As there is no shop you can order bread for the next day and we were really happy with this option. The region is also very beautiful.
