Built in 1627 and rebuilt by Vauban, it has long protected the port and bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Open to the public, it offers a pleasant walk along its ramparts and reveals an exceptional panorama of the bay, mountains and ocean.

Excellent value self catering accommodation in a very pretty town! Reception were very cheerful and friendly!! One of the girls spoke English which was super helpful!

It is perfect for a family holiday (that was our case). Clean, practical, comfortable and affordable. Well situated. The only thing I would change is the pillows... bah. I'll bring mine next time. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
