Staff are very friendly, rooms are a little basic, but have what you need, ideal location for visiting the D day beaches

We stayed in Pierre&Vacances in Courseulles-sur-Mer, it was fine.
Like a lot of accommodation in France, it was a bit run down and in need of deep clean but everything works, the staff is very friendly, there’s a swimming pool (can get quite busy). We weren’t impressed but satisfied with our stay.
Lots of places to go around, lots of restaurants and shops walking distance.
We had a pleasant stay with our toddlers (18 months and 3 and a half).
If we ever come back in the area, we will probably ask for ground floor accommodation as it’s not easy to go up the stairs with children and bags, we had to leave the buggy in the car.

Very nice and quiet residence close to Juno Beach. My appartment had a terrace with beautiful views on the river (and the birds... the name of the residence means it!) and it was properly equipped. The size is on the low side, so 4 pax appartments will be perfect and cozy for a couple and a bit packed for a family, but it is manageable. A welcome kit offers cleaning items, very appropriate.
There is an indoor pool, although it was pretty crowded.
The residence has a parking and it is within 5-10 minutes walking from town center or Juno Beach. Pizzas, bread/pastries and breakfast can be ordered directly from the front desk. Staff is helpful and friendly.
In addition, we found availability in August with short notice and the price was good.
