It is what it is. Cheap Benidorm accommodation. Don't expect the earth, but was fine for somewhere to sleep

Just left Pierre and Vacances Horizon after what can only be described as a stay from hell. We arrived at the hotel to be told our room was not ready and that we must pay a €200 deposit on top of what had already been paid. The €200 is refundable depending on whether you clean the apartment daily, including dishes and emptying rubbish bins. There are no cleaners, if you wish to have clean towels bring your own as they are reluctant to provide clean towels or bedding. There is a washing machine in the room however no washing products, you are expected to provide your own, as well as buying your own toilet roll if you run out of the two rolls that the hotel provide. As for the staff, I have never had a worse experience with such rude and ignorant customer service being given. They were unbothered when we were stuck in the lift on the 25th floor of Pierre Horizon and disinterested in any queries or concerns we had. The only staff member we can give any credit to is Monica on the reception of the sister hotel, our shower wasn’t working and she was incredibly helpful, however we were told a technician would be arriving to our room shortly to fix this issue, nobody came. We have many safety concerns regarding our room, including the glass on the balcony being extremely loose, shaking in the slightest bit of wind, balcony doors that do not lock, as well as the lifts that are blatantly well known for malfunctioning and having people stuck inside them multiple times a day. Air conditioning does not work, we have had to ask multiple other stayers in the hotel to help us get access to our room due to the faulty lock. There are no staff in this hotel, there is no reception, a number for reception in the sister hotel is not provided which, even if so, phones provided in the room do not work, as well as the number listen online for reception ‘not being connected to a line’. We expressed concern for the lack of staff present at the apartments and were told there is a security guard onsite at all times however, the only time he has been present is when he had to help us while stuck inside the lift. As an FYI, the wifi does not work if you are on the higher floors, so ensure that your mobile contract will not charge you for using a lot of roaming data if this is something that will affect you. The pool is also in the shade for a majority of hours in the day due to location of the hotel, which is at no fault of anyone but again, just an FYI for anyone looking to book here. For the money this company is asking people to pay for a stay in these apartments, I would wholeheartedly say do not pay it, do not stay here, there are definitely hundreds more of ‘cheaper’ hotels/apartments available to book in Benidorm where you will have a more enjoyable stay. We have debated going home early due to the circumstances of our apartment, it is terrible and the hotel staff are completely un phased with any concerns we have. I’m not one to leave reviews on hotels but if you book here, you have been warned, it is terrible. We would really appreciate a response from the hotel themselves regarding our feedback as during our stay, all of these concerns were quickly brought to their attention, they just did not care and were clearly not interested. We have been in contact with Jet2 and expressed the same to them, with hopes that some light will be shed.

We regret to hear about the difficulties you faced with the washing machine and the provided washing products; our guests are usually encouraged to bring their essentials for a comfortable stay. Additionally, it is concerning to learn about the safety issues mentioned, such as the glass on the balcony and the balcony doors, and we will investigate these matters urgently. We understand the importance of reliable customer service, and it is regrettable that our 24-hour security staff was not as visible and accessible as intended. Apartments are cleaned prior to each stay and additional cleaning services are available upon request. Moreover, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the air conditioning and the lock on your door, and we will review these concerns with our maintenance team. Lastly, we are apologetic for the inconvenience caused by the Wi-Fi connectivity on the higher floors and appreciate your comments regarding the pool's exposure to sunlight.

I have to say I was very apprehensive after reading the reviews about these apartments..we are just back from a long weekend had the best stay the apartment was immaculate beautiful smell when we arrived!!everything you need washing machine dish washer even a little box with dish tabs liquid..we new about the 200 deposit we paid in cash got this back within 5 mins of departing all we had to do was take our rubbish away which I would do in any apartment the big bins were right outside for your rubbish..The shuttle bus every 20 mins was great to the beach..I had phoned previously as my daughter needed a low level and they had it already on the 3rd floor..we would definitely return we thoroughly njoyed our stay …

Do not come if your elderly or have children! There is only 1 lift working which is normaly full of the cleaning staff. We waited 20 minutes this morning before we had to walk down 18 flights of stairs! Reception took the, noth6we can do stance. Imagine being 70 y/o and stuck on floor 32.

The apartment was not very clean. The balcony floor had food residues the chairs inside were very dusty and the worst part was the bathroom bidet it was feces residues which is not acceptable! And twice I had to go to the lobby of the hotel which is not in the same building to ask for towels because there was only two small ones and blankets as there were only thin sheets. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend because of this. Sheets of the sofa bed were not clean.
