Je suis désolé, mon français est terrible, donc je dois écrire en anglais.
Every member of staff we spoke to was fantastic. Very friendly, professional and helpful. We felt as if no request was too big or too small.
This is a 5 star resort and it definitely lives up to that rating.
The room (2002), was clean, well equipped, comfortable and had fantastic views. This room was an upgrade-which we did not ask for and they had no reason to give us-and they gave it to us free of charge! I could see into some other rooms when they were being cleaned though, and all of them look just as good as room 2002. The views on the back of the building are not as good as the front of course, but I do not think that is a problem or a reason for a lower star rating.
The facilities on-site such as the SPAR store, Ski Shop, swimming pool and spa were good and convenient. Expect the pool and spa to be busy at times in the evenings as the resort can accommodate a lot of people compared to the capacity of the on-site facilities.
Board games, books and pool table in the reception area are a nice touch. There's a kids play area too which seemed popular with families staying at the resort.
The free WiFi/internet was brilliant! No interruptions and fast speeds, for our 4 devices. No issues streaming films and series-when we weren't out skiing and snowboarding.
Highly recommend ordering your croissants, pain au chocolats and baguettes via reception or the online form. Much larger than the ones available at the SPAR-they are just as fresh and tasty though!
Within walking distance of Forét and the Forum, with several transport options including a free shuttle bus service.
Fantastic accommodation - ski in ski out. Spa facilities were great. Bakery service was brilliant. Loved the Spa supermarket just underneath the hotel - very convenient
Wonderful family holiday at Residence d’Helios, Flaine.
The staff were fantastic & our apartment was perfect. Beautiful views of the mountains & very well equipped.
The ski in & out was brilliant & the kids loved the ski school every day right next to the Residence.
Enjoyed the pool, especially the jacuzzi (outdoors with view of mountains) & sauna/steam room.
The free shuttle after 6pm to the village was much appreciated.
Also the supermarket was very well stocked with fresh baguettes every morning & friendly staff.
Thanks to everyone at Helios for an perfect family skiing holiday.
What a beautiful location! The resort has everything you need including freshly baked bread every morning.
The only issue was with the service. The staff were all great except for one lady at reception who had a constant attitude of irritation and spoke to us in a 'are you stupid?' tone of voice!
The restaraunt (L'Eterlou) food was amazing! The server came across as straight up rude, she would do well at 'Karen's' in London (a theme restaurant where the waitresses are deliberately rude for comedy effect)!
Our server had odd mannerisms like turning her back on us once the order was complete and, tossing the menu on the table in irritation to another customer etc.
She did however call us when my wife forgot her phone. She went to the trouble of calling me to let me know. And she was kind to me when I arrived to pick up the phone.
We had a very good stay at this hotel. Although we encountered some issues with our room upon check-in, the staff was extremely friendly and quick to find a solution, which we really appreciated. The location is a bit far from town, making it challenging to go for a walk, but the free shuttle service is very convenient and well-organised. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding view of the mountains—absolutely breathtaking! Overall, a great experience with excellent service.
