Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi at an altitude of 1,900 metres, La Mongie is a family resort that offers a warm welcome in both summer and winter.
The ...Tourmalet residence is composed of 3 buildings with typical Pyrenées architecture and is located opposite the ski slopes, offering you a splendid view of the mountains. Located 50 metres from ...the ski slopes via the snow bridge, each fully equipped apartment is south-facing and has its own terrace.
This residence also has restaurants (snack bar, deli, local specialities, pizzas), an undercover car park and a ski room
To help you relax and unwind, a heated indoor swimming pool awaits and you can also enjoy a sauna area, hammam and fitness studio (at an additional charge to be paid on site)
During the school holidays in July - and August, activities for children are available
From December to April, a free shuttle service located 50 metres away connects the residence to the centre of the resort and to the ski lifts (runs approx. every 15 minutes, from 8.30 am to 9.45 pm on weekdays and until 10.45 pm on weekends).
Leisure area with indoor heated pool (dimensions: 12 m x 6 m, depth: 0.95 to 1.5 m) in the main building with mountain views, open to all. Open every day from 10 am to 8 pm.
Take to the skies and venture to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, a vast balcony at an altitude of 2877 m, with a panoramic view of the entire Pyrenees mountain range. Visit its museum and planetarium, the highest in Europe.
Don't miss out on any of these specialities: black Bigorre pork, tomme cheese, the traditional spit-roast cake and ewe's milk cheeses are sure to delight you!
The mountains offer a multitude of activities to suit all tastes and ages: white-water sports, via ferrata and climbing, accrobranche, paragliding and hang-gliding, hiking, Trail Mountain Cart. So there's never a dull moment!
Set off on a hike in an idyllic setting surrounded by forests, streams, rivers and lakes. Enjoy a visit to the Saint-Lary-Soulan caves, just a few kilometres away.
