Arrived 22/7/26. Night reception guy was great. Room was clean and huge. Thought it was to good to be true. From 23/7/26 until we checked out it was so noisy. Teenagers took over the majority of the hotel so there was loud noises from 11pm until 0700. They took over the main swimming pool from 3pm by dive bombing etc. wasn't a great experience for a family. We did find a gem though the cafe/bar next to the hotel run by a local family, they were absolutely amazing.

The staff was super nice and helpful! The bed linnen get changed weekly and towels are changed every 2/3 days. It’s close to the beach and you’re in the center of the city in 10 min!!

Staying here currently, lying in bed at 2am listening to the room above making unnerving noise. Nothing improved when I complain. Here with 2 adults 3 kids, while the rooms are ok the noise here is terrible all young people. Should not be advertised as a family hotel. Pool is also filthy used the beach most days. Will be happy to leave tomo.

The only good thing about this hotel is the restaurant across the road?, the restaurant is decently priced and the food is spot on. The workers in this hotel were awful to deal with as soon as we got to the hotel they tried calling a taxi to bring us to another location they have because apparently the hotel that we booked online was too family oriented?, they tried telling us to stay there a night to see if we like it which is just a way for them to get us to leave because why would they dirty a room for one night to see if we prefer that hotel? They also told the 3 of us that they had sent “3 girls” just an hour ago to this other location because we were a group of 3 lads… they also started claiming they had “no clean rooms” while other people were checking in? anyway they had a few tries to make us give in but I was adamant on staying there because it was the exact hotel we had booked, the lady at the reception eventually “worked her magic” as she said and they gave us a room for one night that was apparently a big upgrade compared to what we originally booked and we had to leave in the morning to a different room because we payed for a smaller room, this room they gave us had no working electricity it was a joke? they woke us up bright and early the next day and told us we had an hour to go to the next room which was grand we didn’t mind moving as long as it wasn’t to a different hotel the other side of the beach… the room we were given was just okay nothing crazy we didn’t spend much time in the apartment anyway aside from sleeping, we also passed reception multiple times during our stay and said hello and was ignored… the only other thing I’d mention is when you get to the hotel they make you pay €200 deposit and they keep a receipt and give you a copy of it which is standard enough but today when I was checking out I thought I didn’t have my copy of the receipt and the receptionist was adamant that without a receipt we were not going to be given back our deposit which was strange because they originally told us it was fine because they had a receipt and signature from me anyway, I eventually found my receipt and got back my deposit and was about to leave and the receptionist called me back and asked for a five star review which I just thought was gas, I wouldn’t have even bothered giving a review if she hadn’t of asked me so I hope this review helps people booking accommodation in Santa ponsa to realise to book elsewhere but definitely if your in the portofino area check out the restaurant across the road the food is gorgeous but stay well away from the hotel it’s pretty lousy.

3 star experience but they asked for 5 star reviews multiple times. the tap water has an awful aftertaste, some dishes were missing etc. decent experience for the price with a nice pool area.
