Firstly the hotel is in a great location with spectacular views and central to get to different harbours and beaches if you have a car, it could be quite isolated if you dont have a vehicle. A good walk down to the beach which might be difficult with smaller children, especially on the way back up.
We found the pool cold with the children shivering after been in a while, and the high winds can make this worse. No floats allowed in the pool, balls or other toys and if you leave your loungers to go to your room, you need to be quick before the life guards remove the towels from them.
The pool closes at 8pm sharp- and you will know when its closing as a whistle happy life guard will blow the hell out of his whistle shouting in spanish until you move (limited English spoken by life guards and various staff members).
Good thing about the pool is the size and the view.

We had a large family room for 6, which was a great size. Large living/dining kitchen fitted with dishwasher, hobs and microwave with large fridge freezer.
The hotel could do with some repairs - large cracks on the walls and around the windows and doors, with uneven paths and raised flags throughout the grounds. Slight issue with ants - which appear to come out of the ceiling and floors.

Reception staff are nice and welcoming.

So I stayed here with my 5 year old son.
We arrived late, had to drag my suitcase from the main gate all the way to reception then we get out room key and some kind of info as to where our room is... drag the suitcase and a very tired 5 year old plus 2 bags to the room. When we finally found it, carry the suitcase down to flights of stairs. We arrive.

The apartment itself. In working order.
This is a self catering holiday and the fridge is smaller than my handbag.
The kettle, continuously boils until you unplug it. No toaster.
The bathroom - when turning the shower on, the bath tap also runs and vice versa.

Otherwise the apartment is fine.

The little ants / midges are HORRENDOUS!!!! They are everywhere in the kitchen area despite me keeping everything sealed (foodwise).

The pool - its a treck! Down (and back up hills) not to mention its hot and you are taking a child with little legs and allll the things that come with children. Not ideal in the slightest, had to buy a cool bag for snacks at the pool as "nipping" back to the apartment was not a thing for our 2 mile treck!

Last but not least - the hotel offer late check out ?
No they dont. I asked 5 days before the end of my holiday (willing to pay of course) and was told come and ask on the morning of you checking out. Asked again 2 days prior to the end of our holiday and was told its not possible. We have to check out at 12 noon and our flight is at 11.30pm!

It wasnt the worst holiday but was far from the best... ??‍♀️

Staying here now and I have never been more disappointed with a hotel.
Food is disgusting. Nothing is warm in fact it’s stone cold and when I asked the waiter he said it’s been cooked it won’t hurt to eat cold. What seemed to be a more senior member of staff came over and assured me the food warmers were working but we’ve had to go to the shop and get breakfast things from there twice. Tea we have had chips every night just for something to eat.

Yesterday it was adult water aerobics, the staff took a noodle off my daughter because she wasn’t an adult which is absolutely fine then gave it straight to another child to join in. When I questioned them I was shrugged off.

Cannot even have a bottle of water near your sun lounger , it’s been so hot. We have 3 children. I asked the life guard if we could go get them some food and a drink and leave our towels. He said yes. Popped to the room to grab them a drink was only 15 mins max came back and that same life guard had removed our towels and with nowhere else to sit we had to leave the pool.

The pool party last night, was basically a free for all , kids can do what they like with 1 life guard trying to control them whilst the entertainment staff played beer pong with the adults. It was dark and with so many kids in the pool it was difficult to locate my own. With a child actually jumping off the side of the pool and landing on my child’s head, we left after half an hour.

The only upside is the reception staff who are lovely. Especially the two ladies. But I would never ever recommend this hotel or stay again.

Definitely need a car which luckily we have hired but that extra cost on top of the half board holiday we’ve already paid for. Aswell as the €80 we’ve spent on breakfast food whilst being here because it’s disgusting. And we arnt even half way through. I have never wanted to just go home more then I do now.

I have been to the reception to try and discuss this but the language barrier isn’t great.

Checked out a week ago on the 13 of August, still awaiting my 200 Eur deposit back, nobody answered my calls.. absolute rip off.we had problems with ants in the bedroom,a bit of mould on the ceiling.i would not recommend.Please send my deposit money back as soon as possible

I honestly don’t know where to begin. This place is truly disgusting. There was hair everywhere – in the bathroom, on the bed, and generally in places it should never be. The moment I walked in, I felt sick just thinking about how dirty it must be. The pictures on the website must be ancient, because nothing here looks like what was advertised. The building is in desperate need of repair; parts are literally falling apart. The terrace furniture? Old, discolored, flimsy plastic chairs that wouldn’t look out of place at a junkyard. It’s painfully obvious the owners are cutting costs to the bone, minimising investment in every aspect – from cleaning staff to basic maintenance, paint, and repairs.

The only saving grace is the view, which is undeniably beautiful, and the staff – the few that are actually there – who genuinely try their best despite clearly being severely understaffed. Unfortunately, even their efforts can’t make up for the state of this place. We were so disgusted we left and booked another hotel elsewhere in the Costa del Sol just to escape.

If you value cleanliness, honesty, and basic maintenance, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
