After reading some of the past reviews I thought it was important to share some perspective after staying here. We were a family of 5 and had a 6-7 person room with great space, lovely views and two bedrooms plus the living room with sofa beds. If you’re used to Four ...Seasons hotels or similar luxury, go for a hotel. France is all about cosy apartments and having a good time in family. These apartments offer exactly that. Enough space to be comfortable, two bathrooms in our unit, and all the amenities needed. The only two things lacking is a proper oven for cooking and the room also didn’t have a hair dryer. Except for this, great space for storage of skis (with boot heater which is very nice) in the building, right in front of supermarket as well as several restaurant options and it seems the young partygoers are not in this building which is nice if you are there to ski. I can also state that there IS ski in/out directly from the 6th floor but the reception doesn’t do a huge job explaining the facilities so other guests might not have noticed this. Would highly recommend and we’ll consider this for sure next time coming to Val Thorens!
