This was the worst holiday experience I have ever had. Unhelpful and blatantly rude staff. Do not stay here if you want to enjoy your holiday. We have been told we will not receive back our 200 euro deposit and no reason has been given. We spent about 2 hours cleaning the apartment before we left to leave it perfect. Now we have lost our deposit. If I could give this place zero star I would.

No wifi in the apratment, location wasnt good, they charged us 100 euros for a simple key we lost (you can make a new one for like 7 euros in a shop) and they charged us 8 euros for an extra towel.
The reception was realy rude..

If you have never been scammed in your life, you should probably check out this place.

The rooms are super dirty, smelly and congested. Things are falling apart, creaking noise in bathroom and beds. Worst of all is the super bad wifi(feels like no internet). Anything you ask for and they will throw a bomb with a super expensive price list.

After reading some of the past reviews I thought it was important to share some perspective after staying here. We were a family of 5 and had a 6-7 person room with great space, lovely views and two bedrooms plus the living room with sofa beds. If you’re used to Four Seasons hotels or similar luxury, go for a hotel. France is all about cosy apartments and having a good time in family. These apartments offer exactly that. Enough space to be comfortable, two bathrooms in our unit, and all the amenities needed. The only two things lacking is a proper oven for cooking and the room also didn’t have a hair dryer. Except for this, great space for storage of skis (with boot heater which is very nice) in the building, right in front of supermarket as well as several restaurant options and it seems the young partygoers are not in this building which is nice if you are there to ski. I can also state that there IS ski in/out directly from the 6th floor but the reception doesn’t do a huge job explaining the facilities so other guests might not have noticed this. Would highly recommend and we’ll consider this for sure next time coming to Val Thorens!

On arrival in our room at Tikal we noticed a crack in one of the windows. We reported the damage via the form provided, handed it into reception and told them about the damage. One week after arriving home our full 400 Euro deposit was withdrawn from our account without an explanation. A phone call revealed that it was taken to pay for the damage to the window which i had informed them was already broken. Several reviews already highlight the withholding of the deposit so be quite careful if booked and visiting Tikal
