I’ve traveled to many places, but my stay at La Tikal was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
First, the Wi-Fi in the room never worked, and no one at the hotel seemed to care. Every time we asked about it, they brushed us off and said they would fix it, but it never happened. We had to go down to the lobby every time we needed internet, which was a huge inconvenience.
Second, when we asked for an extra blanket, nobody ever responded. We made multiple requests, but the staff completely ignored us. It felt like they didn’t care about their guests at all.
But the real problem started after we checked out. A few days later, we received an email saying that we were being charged €50 for leaving ‘trash’ in the room. This was completely unfair because we had cleaned the entire room before leaving. The only thing we left behind was some unopened food in the fridge, which we thought could be useful rather than wasteful. Instead of appreciating this, they used it as an excuse to charge us.
The way this hotel handled the situation was unacceptable. They ignored us when we needed help, but when it came to charging us extra money, they suddenly had time to respond.
I do not recommend staying at La Tikal. There are many better hotels where you’ll be treated with respect and fairness. Avoid this place at all costs!
Only location is fantastic with makes this place ok, Extra small room,There is no place for luggage, no wardrobe. Bathroom definitely needs renovation.
Once our friends couldn’t get out from the elevator. But the views are incredible.
Decent accommodation for the price all the necessities included great location although waiting for the deposits on the rooms which was €1000 so I will update if it comes back

Bad hotel, bad service, and a inndifferent staff that billed us a 100 euro fine, three days after we checked out, despite us leaving an immaculate room.

Also we got a dirty room with hair on the unmade beds and the hotel expected us to use one roll of toilet paper and one towel
for a whole week
Also, the ski room came with a single chair for about 20 different rooms...
Never going back, never reccomending.
Honestly it's a better deal sleeping in the street then giving these scammers your money.
